BAM Construction has awarded GKR a Gold Supply Chain Award for our excellent Health & Safety performance during 2016.
GKR have been working with BAM on the Broadwick Street project in London’s busy Soho district.
BAM said “GKR took part in all lifting and co-ordination meetings throughout the project duration. They maintained a core team that worked extremely well with BAM managers on site.”
This is testament not only to GKR continuing to lead in health and safety, but demonstrates the impact that good collaborative working brings to all aspects of a project.
Director, Neil Rowswell, credited GKR’s Richard Wellings “who managed an exemplar project from start to finish” and his team for representing the values that GKR are now well known for.
We continue to lead the way in health & safety, developing innovative systems and tools that have been adopted by the wider industry. We also focus on health and wellbeing on site, and have introduced mobile medical centres to carry out safety critical medicals.
