GKR are delighted to announce that they are headline corporate sponsor of racing driver Bobby Thompson.
The sponsorship is part of GKR’s Better Future programme, focusing on helping the construction industry, employees and local communities build a better future.
Bobby is competing in the hotly contested Milltek Sport Volkswagen Racing Cup Championship in the Team Hard VW Golf.
Bobby’s familiar black and orange Golf GTI R Cup race car now sports the GKR Scaffolding livery and logo, as seen on our iconic fleet of trucks.
Motorsport gives us a platform to engage young people and the wider community who are interested in engineering, strategy and innovation.
These skills are associated with motorsport but are also very much a part of attracting talent and creating a better future for the construction industry.
We will be hosting events and activities in association with BT Motorsport and race days to roll into the Better Future programme.
